Accommodation

The cottage has a country farmhouse style kitchen and eating area, as well as a spacious bathroom with a beautiful original Victorian roll-top bath and shower over. The double doors give access to a small private courtyard surrounded by woven hazel fencing, with a table and chairs for sitting or eating outside. A small area beside the woodburner allows you to store and dry muddy or wet boots and coats – making it the perfect base for exploring the many wonderful footpaths and guided walks in the area. At night, snuggle up in the sumptuous beds up in the loft – the double bedroom has a beautiful double bed with an extra deep mattress and feather quilt. The second bedroom has twin pine beds with very comfortable mattresses and a small double sofabed tucked away as an alternative to the twin beds. The double french doors from the living room give access to a small private courtyard surrounded by woven hazel fencing topped with solar powered fairy lights, and with a decked area which has a table and chairs for sitting or eating outside.

Enter Badger Cottage via the courtyard garden & in through the double French doors into the spacious living room. This room has a quarry tiled floor, two 2-seater sofas, coffee table, flatscreen TV and woodburning stove.

Stairs lead to a galleried double bedroom above the living room. This has a double bed with extra deep mattress, bedside tables, sheepskin rugs and a tiny granary door with leaded window overlooking the courtyard. A door from the living room leads to a hallway with doors through to the kitchen diner & bathroom.

The kitchen diner has all you’ll need for cooking and eating a family meal – oven, table & 4 chairs, dishwasher, kettle, toaster & plenty of cupboard space. Stairs from the kitchen area lead to the galleried guest bedroom with rustic reclaimed wood balustrade, twin beds and a small double sofabed for seating or alternative sleeping arrangements.

The fully tiled Victorian style bathroom has a deep cast iron roll-top bath with shower over, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail.

The courtyard has a woven willow fence topped with solar fairy lights, a raised decked area with a table & seating for 4 and a BBQ.
